Therapy sessions with licensed mental health professionals who are trained to understand the impact of deployment on families (for kids, couples, spouses, individuals, parents), including PTSD, loss of loved one, substance abuse, suicidal thoughts or attempts, marital family distress associated with deployment or return, childhood adjustment challenges evident in

home or school, role stress due to changes in family responsibilities.

Paid through Tricare while service member is deployed, and by a DMH grant once Tricare expires.

For families of National Guard or reserve members who is deployed for more than 4 months, whose income as primary wage-earner is not available or whose job has been eliminated during deployment, and who is experiencing significant hardship due to financial burdens. Includes financial assistance for overdue bills, vocational training, subsidized employment to train on the job/paid internships, job search assistance, assistance with daycare and transportation costs to pursue training and employment.

Provides emergency financial assistance to qualified military members and their families during periods of financial hardship. Eligibility—Missouri National Guard or Missouri resident Reserve Component member rank no higher than O-3 or W-2. On Title 10 or Title 32 orders as a result of 9/11 for more than 30 consecutive days, and been off the orders for 24 months or less. Review Panel may give up to a $3000 grant.

WIC is a program for Women who are pregnant, in postpartum (pregnancy ended less than 6 months ago), or breastfeeding, infants under 12 months, and children under 5 year old. Eligibility includes meeting income guidelines and nutrition risk. Includes nutrition education and guidance, breastfeeding education and support, nutritious food to supplement diet (milk, cheese, formula, iron-fortified cereal, eggs, juice, etc.), referrals.

There is a small charge to use the PARx program and not all prescriptions are covered. Please ask to speak with the PARx representative for more details.

A discount prescription drug program available to families without prescription drug coverage or who are under insured. All area pharmacies accept the FamilyWize card. The cards are free and there are no age restrictions, no income restrictions, no limit on how many times you can use it, and not waiting to get a card.
