Sub: Change of Syllabus in Gujarati Language for IX & X (Code- 010)

and Classes XI & XII (Code- 110) for 2007-08 reg.
Dear Principal,
In continuation of our circular No. EO.(OL)Acad./Gujarati/2006 dated 18th December 07 on the cited subject it is reiterated that the revised syllabus as prescribed by the State Board of Gujarat has been adopted/ adapted for classes IX, X,&XI ,XII, in the Curriculum 2009 –Volume II
In respect of Classes X & XII for the academic session 2007-08 and who would be appearing for AISSE & AISSCE 2008 Exams respectively, the new syllabus will also be applicable (syllabus enclosed) .Hence the old text books stand deprescribed and only the new textbooks given below will be implemented for 2008 examination for these classes.


  • Gujarati Dwitiya Bhasha Class X – Edition 2006 .Gujarat Patya Pustak Mandal Vidyayan-Gujarat

  • Gujarati Dwitiya Bhasha Class XII – Edition 2004 .Gujarat Patya Pustak Mandal Vidyayan-Gujarat

The Principals may communicate the same to the teachers concerned and seek compliance.
