Illuminating the Past:

Ancient Egypt and Israel




TASK


  • Students will create a Poster in Adobe Photoshop that contains a Visual Story / Representation about a topic from the Near East: Ancient Egypt and Israel. The poster must include Primary Documents, Images, Quotes and Descriptors / Labels that showcase the essence or theme of the topic.

  • Poster must be accompanied by a separate written paragraph (approximately 250 words) that explains the theme of the poster as well as the historical importance of the topic to the ancient civilization and ancient history.

  • Paragraph should also include a Bibliography of all sources used (images and text).

  • Poster will be uploaded onto students’ efolios

  • Poster dimensions: Width: 11 inches; Height: 17 inches; 72 dpi
