The applicant is also seeking a 2’6” variance from Bexley Code Section 1252.03(d) which requires an 8’ side yard setback, to allow the 1-story addition to be construction 5’6” from the west side property line.

Request: The applicant is seeking a variance from Bexley Code Section 1257.07(f) & (g) which (f) requires a circular driveway shall serve as an access corridor leading from a street to a garage or approved off-street parking space. Circular driveways shall not be used for temporary or permanent parking; and (g) A circular driveway is defined as an access corridor located, in whole or in part, within the front yard and leading from a street to a garage or other approved off-street parking space(s) which has more than one (1) point of ingress/egress at the street. The applicant would like to remove a portion of the driveway to separate the circular drive from the attached garage and provide a separate access from the side street (Clifton). The applicant would also like to request Special Permits in accordance with Bexley Code Section 1262.03(b), which limits a fence to 42” in height, to allow a 4’ fence with 5’6 stone columns along the south side of the property.

Request: The applicant is seeking architectural review and approval for a proposed new open front porch and a 2-story addition to the rear of the principal structure. The applicant is also seeking 2 variances from Bexley Code Section 1252.03(d). The first variance is to the requires a 6.6’ side yard setback for a 40’ wide lot, to allow the additions to the principal structure to be constructed 3’8 ¾ from the north side property line. The second variance is to the 35% lot coverage limitation, to allow the lot to be covered 37.9%.
