PARKING

NOTE: There is no onsite parking available for visitors. Please use public transportation if possible. The nearest public parking is the paid “South Field” stadium parking lot (120-01 Roosevelt Avenue, Flushing, NY 11368), which costs $4.00 to park. The South Field lot is on the south side of Roosevelt Avenue, just east of the Olmsted Center. Please keep in mind that it is easiest to park all the way to the back of the parking lot to the right. This is the closest exit to reach the Olmsted Center.

BY SUBWAY:

EXPRESS: IRT Number 7 to Mets/Willets Point. Exit to Roosevelt Avenue. You want to be on the south side of the street, across from Citi Field. Walk along Roosevelt Avenue with Citi Field on your right. Take the first road on left into the Park. At the bottom of the road there is a one story white building - this is the Olmsted Center.


LOCAL: IRT Number 7 to 111th Street. Exit to the southeast corner of Roosevelt Avenue and 111th Street. Walk east on Roosevelt Avenue, toward the park and the Grand Central Parkway. After you cross over the GCP and the park drive, follow the pedestrian path toward the one story white building - this is the Olmsted Center.

BY CAR FROM LONG ISLAND: Grand Central Parkway Westbound to Exit 9P - Flushing Meadows Corona Park/Tennis. Make a left at the end of the ramp. After you cross under the LIRR tracks, the Olmsted Center will be on your right. Make the first right turn, which will lead you around to the front of the building.
BY CAR FROM MANHATTAN: RFK Triborough Bridge to Grand Central Parkway (Eastbound). Take the Northern Blvd exit. Keep to the right on the exit ramp and bear right at the fork. At the bottom of the exit ramp you should be facing Citi Field. Turn right and take the service road around the parking lot, keeping the stadium on your left. Go under Roosevelt Avenue and take the first left. The one story white building is the Olmsted Center.
BY CAR FROM NORTHERN NEW JERSEY: George Washington Bridge to south-bound Major Deegan Expressway to the RFK Triborough Bridge. Follow directions above "From Manhattan."
BY CAR FROM THE WHITESTONE BRIDGE: Whitestone Expressway to Exit 13, Northern Blvd. Turn right at traffic light then first left and under the highway at the Marina. At the traffic circle bear right and follow the service road keeping the stadium on your left. Go under Roosevelt Avenue and take the first left. The one story white building is the Olmsted Center.
BY CAR FROM STATEN ISLAND: Verrazano Narrows Bridge to Shore Parkway (Belt Parkway) East to the Van Wyck Expressway. Take the Van Wyck to the Grand Central Parkway & follow directions above “From Long Island.”
