Bro. Don Langford Bro. James Quinn God With Us Women’s Fellowship
Hello Ladies, I need to make you all aware of some news and I would greatly appreciate if you could share this with your church on Sunday. We will not be having a fellowship meeting this Tuesday at Faith, instead we will be joining Victory Missionary Baptist Women's Fellowship on Thursday. Below is the information.
Also, due to so many revivals in the month of June and July we have made the decision to not hold our meeting during these two months. Instead, please try to visit our sister churches to support their revivals. Faith's Revival starts the 3rd Sunday in June at 7pm. Be sure to keep each church, its members and their pastors in your prayers. But most of all that the lost will come in and hear God's word.
God Bless you all and I will miss you! You will be in my prayers. Please let me know if you need anything from me and keep us all informed of any events going on in your church. I hope to see each of you at Victory on Thursday. I am sure that we will all be blessed!

REMEMBER IN PRAYER
Bro. Armour’s brother-in-law has had a stroke and was in St. Thomas Hospital but has been transferred to Baptist Hospital where he is getting therapy, He still has some paralysis. Lori Whaley is improving after her fall. Keep her in our prayers. Mary Jo Whaley’s sister is facing the sad possibility of not being able to live by herself. This will be hard for her. Pray for her to be able to accept this possibility. Mrs. Clemons has a friend at her residence who spoke of her experience, spiritually, which caused Mrs. Clemons to be concerned. Pray for this friend. Prayer was requested for Janet Powell who is on life support.
Please remember this request when you pray. Mayrene continues to recover from recent surgery. Keep Mayrene’s recovery in your prayers. Continue to pray for Steve Howard’s family following his tragic accident/
Congratulations to Dillon, who is graduating from Overton High School this year. He will be going off to college and will need our prayers. Also, pray for his brother and sister that the will continue to come to church regularly.
An e-mail from Elder Paul Bryson: Shared by Cindy Clemons My dear friends,
Last night I was informed that Elder Victor Sleweon in Liberia, had been attacked again and put in to the hospital. He had gone home from the radio station for the night. About ten O'clock; three men came to his door and knocked.. When he asked who it was; they said they had been listening to the radio program of ours and came to get prayer. When he opened the door; they came pouncing in and started beating Bro. Victor up. If it had not been for the neighbors and the police, they would have killed him. He was badly beaten, and sustained the most damage on the left side of his face. The men that are working
there are saying that it is the Pentecostal and Charismatic bunch that is doing all of this damage.
They are threatening the other men and calling me threatening me as well. Those men in Liberia are saying
that it makes no difference what the ungodly men do to them; they will keep spreading the gospel up until the time these hoodlums kill them.
Brethren, this is an infant church that is laying their lives on the line every day to spread what you and I are preaching here.
They have made the threats and injuries known to the radio audience, and the listeners are responding in a very favorable fashion. They are begging for more CDS with messages from our preachers. I talked to Bro, Victor today by phone in his hospital room, and he is saying that, instead of hundreds of requests for the CDS; they are asking in thousands.
I will send one CD down there and they can buy the blank cds and make copies from that one CD. Can you imagine that many people begging for the truth!!! These requests are coming mostly to the MBVOA station.
I feel like a cheap piece of dirt sitting here while my brethren go to war. If it is the Lord's will for me to have enough good health; I plan on going down there to try to offer some encouragement before the year is out. I apologize for being laid up for so long, but I think the tide is turning. Last September I had the left shoulder operated on and somehow the medicine and the surgery did not do right. I had the left shoulder operated on last week, and ,so far, absolutely no pain. When I get out of the arm sling; it may not be so good. I want to thank everyone for every prayer and all of the financial help.
I want us to keep in mind that this is a sister church that is being persecuted, and one of our preachers laying injured in the hospital because he dared to preach the true gospel. So I beg of you to hold these brethren up before the Lord and pray that we would be blessed with the same measure of grace if that kind of persecution comes our way. These expenses that I have just mentioned will run about one thousand dollars.
I remain a struggling disciple,

Thank God for Mother's Love – Anonymous
A mother's patience of a saint could only be by the hand of God.
There is no love, like a mother's love,
no stronger bond on earth...
like the precious bond that comes from God,
to a mother, when she gives birth.
A mother's love is forever strong,
never changing for all time...
and when her children need her most,
a mother'slove will shine.
When her days on earth are over,
a mother's love lives on...
through many generations,
with God's blessings on each one.
Be thankful for our mothers,
for they love with a higher love...
from the power God has given,
and the strength from up above. BIRTHDAYS, WEDDING ANNIVERSARIES
