Tour and Travel services
There are 6 tours and travel services available. Since tourism has not fully picked up, this is one area where the local community and youth can actively engage in economic activities of tourism.
The perception of tourists regarding Manipur is not positive. There is security risk perception owing to internal conflicts in Manipur. Consultants also could not visit all the destinations due to local concerns at the point in time and Govt. security advice.
Since, tourists make tourism visits for leisure purposes, the smallest safety concern will also make them to stop visitation. Improving security perception in the tourists would naturally bring the tourists to the state.
