  • Begin narrative poetry – read Stevie Wonder “Stay Gold” – discuss narrative story elements (discussed Friday in WNB)

  • Breakdown narrative story elements in WNB – similarities/differences between a novel and narrative poetry

  • Note other elements of narrative poetry

  • Blackout poetry writing – using newspapers (please donate a paper if you can!). Students will be using their creativity to create a poem within a newspaper article.
