MPF Campaign: Engaging with external investors
Whilst surveys and local meetings of the Forum are key to our success, MPF campaigns enable members to connect with the bigger picture. This month we launched a campaign to help the professions worldwide engage with external investors:
In partnership with valuation experts Brand Finance, the forthcoming MPF/Brand Finance Global 500 Brand Report will represent the definitive annual valuation of the goodwill of leading firms.
In partnership with investment bank Noble Group, the MPF Professional Service Index of listed professional firms will enable external investors as well as firms to track changes in market values.

Making news…

Despite the fact this initiative is still in its formative stages, we have already attracted the attention of the trade press and generated interest from professional firm leaders keen to get involved. Watch this space..!

MPF New York: Vibrant October launch
The inaugural event of MPF New York took place on 18 October hosted by local white shoe firm White & Case. Regional Director Bruce MacEwen was joined by Robert Millard, Partner Edge International, of the MPF Research Committee to present the findings of a groundbreaking MPF survey on the strategy setting process at professional services firms worldwide.
Following an opportunity to listen to the findings, NY based leaders got their first taste of the MPF as they shared insights, case studies and war stories relevant to the survey with peers. Commented Howell Melton, Managing Partner of Holland & Knight:

“A recent MPF program in New York on strategy in professional firms presented provocative survey data which reveals striking differences between UK and North American firms and between CPA and law firms. Understanding why and what this means for the future should be of great interest to all professional service firm leaders in a global economy." More…
