Venues (Directions)
Bahraini Mosque - Located in Jaffliya Area

The Bahraini Mosque is located opposite the Satwah Imambargah (please see directions for Satwah below)



Ghusais Imamabargah – Located in Ghusais Area

From Mulla Plaza make a right turn towards Ghusais Area. At the 4th traffic light, which is the Major Intersection turn left going towards Sharjah Industrial Area. Make the first right after that and drive down for approximately 500 meters. On your right hand side you will see Ghusais Imambargah which is a single story Villa with a Green Alam right next to a building.


Iranian Club – Located behind American Hospital

From Garhoud Bridge, go towards the Wafi Center and get into the service road that passes Wafi. After passing the Wafi Center, exit at the right going towards Rashid Hospital / Maktoum Bridge. You will reach the first Roundabout where you continue to go straight. You will see the Iranian Club on your left hand side approx. 100 meters from the Roundabout. As there is no direct left turn, you will have to come

back by taking the next Roundabout U turn.


Majmatul Ahlul Bayt - Located in Jaffliya Area

From Garhoud Bridge, go towards Sanaa Fashions main Intersection which is off Karama area. Keep on going straight from the intersection and make a U turn at the Traffic Light. Take the 2nd right, just before EPPCO Petrol Station and right opposite to EIDGAH. Majma e AhlulBayt is on your right side after approximately 150 meters.



Madrassah al Muhammadiyyah - Located in Garhoud Area

Madressa Al Muhammadiyya - Located in Garhoud Area. From Garhoud Bridge take exit 70 going towards the Airport Terminal 1. Cross the Emirates Airline Training Center and make a right at Street 31A. Pass Choitram Supermarket and make a right turn at Street 20B. Make a left turn at Street 19 and Madressa Al Muhammadiyya is located on your left hand side - Villa 29.



Satwah Imambargah - Located in Jaffliya Area

From Garhoud Bridge, go towards the Trade Center. Before passing Trade Center, take the Flyover exit towards Dhiyafa Road. At the end of the Flyover, take the immediate right turn. Once you have turned right, go straight and pass the 1st Roundabout. Approximately 50 meters down from the roundabout, you will see Satwa Imambargah on your left hand side. As there is no direct left turn, you will have to come back by taking the next Roundabout U turn.

Special Buses will run between the accommodation venues below and the conference venues at appropriate times.

Registration

Delegates, Councillors and Invitees are requested to register as early as possible and collect their identity tags (Note: Observers do not need to register and do not need identity tags). Registration may be done: 8-9 October as follows:


  • On Wednesday prior to/during the Constitutional Conference, Women’s Forum, and Board/Desk Forums at Majmatul Ahlul Bayt or Garhoud

  • On Thursday morning prior to Session 1 at Majmatul Ahlul Bayt

Literature for distribution

Literature brought by Jamaats will be launched and distributed in a controlled manner – a few per session. Please hand over all such literature to the World Federation Staff or Host Jamaat Reception Committee.


Smoking

Kindly observe the smoking regulations in and around the conference venues. Smoking is not allowed at all times inside any of the conference venues.



Dress Code

All are reminded that the World Federation expects all attendees to be suitably attired in keeping with the decorum, spirit and the practice of Sharia. This is a meeting of the leadership of the Community and hence the importance of setting standards and examples for the Community at large.


 

The dress code for women throughout the Conference (at all sessions including focus forums of all boards and desks and all outings) should be correct hijab, the minimum being a loose full length outer garment and a scarf. The Women's desk will be more than happy to assist and advise on the do’s and don'ts on the matter.


 
The dress code for men is sombre clothing with no sleeveless clothes and no shorts.  Certain corridors, stairs, lifts at the venues will be reserved entirely for women. Men are requested to respect the requirement of privacy by the women.

Namaz will be prayed with Jamaat and meals will be served at times and venues given in the daily time tables above.
