LYRICS2LEARN!

Let’s read!

Read each story out loud three times. If the story seems fast or the words too hard, keep playing, don’t worry, let me ease your mind. Keep at it, soon you’re going to be a reading star.

Next go to questions, and click the “Hot Tips.” Lefty helps you out, and gives you little hints.

Next, read the questions. Think about the text. Look at each answer, pick the best, no stress. If an answer is crazy and you know it’s not true, click the text to cross it out. That is what you do.

When you take each test, you have to WORK for the glory. You think real hard and look back at the story.

It’s Lyrics2learn, and we’re here to help YOU. Help you READ, help you THINK, help your brain IMPROVE.

Read and Discuss:
Note: This is meant to teach early readers how to discuss and think on what they have read. This includes writing or talking about the hows and whys! For some, a written response may be appropriate. For others, drawing pictures and discussing will be valuable.
Kids no not have to sing or rap. Reading or verbalizing in any way is what ties the language and music together, creating new pathways and higher retention rates. This in turn leads to more background knowledge/connection points that can transfer t everyday reading, writing, speaking and listening.
