1 1 Amend House File 213 as follows:

1 2 #1. Page 4, by inserting after line 3 the

1 3 following:

1 4 . Section 103.22, Code 2009, is amended

1 5 by adding the following new subsection:

1 6 NEW SUBSECTION. 13. Apply to a person otherwise

1 7 licensed pursuant to this chapter who is engaged in

1 8 the wiring or installation of electrical wiring,

1 9 apparatus, or equipment while presenting a course of

1 10 instruction relating to home construction technology,

1 11 or a similar course of instruction, offered to

1 12 students enrolled in a community college established

1 13 under chapter 260C or an institution under the control

1 14 of the state board of regents. A student enrolled in

1 15 such a course of instruction shall not be considered

1 16 an apprentice electrician or unclassified person, and

1 17 supervision ratios as provided in section 103.15,

1 18 subsection 3, shall not be applicable. The board

1 19 shall by rule establish inspection procedures in the

1 20 event that the home constructed pursuant to the course

1 21 is intended for eventual occupation as a residence.>

1 4 . Section 466A.4, subsection 1, Code

1 5 2009, is amended to read as follows:

1 6 1. Public water supply utilities, counties, county

1 7 conservation boards, and cities may also be eligible

1 8 and apply for and receive local watershed improvement

1 9 grants for water quality improvement projects. An

1 10 applicant shall coordinate with a local watershed

1 11 improvement committee or a soil and water conservation

1 12 district and shall include in the application a

1 13 description of existing projects and any potential

1 14 impact the proposed project may have on existing or

1 15 planned water quality improvement projects.>
