A graduate of the Postgraduate Broadcast Journalism Course at the London College of Communication. Accredited by the BJTC. The course covered media law, news writing for TV and radio, online journalism, digital editing, radio studio operation, programme production, shorthand, politics, voice coaching and interviewing skills.
I am fully trained in Final Cut Pro, Quick Edit Pro, Radioman, Burli, CMS and iPrompt. I also have my own Marantz recorder kit.

  • Only member of news’ team – responsible for ALL editorial content.

  • Writing short, sharp copy and sourcing supporting audio for bulletins and headlines throughout the morning.

  • Scripting for longer lunchtime news programme.

  • Finding guests/interviewees in support of news’ stories.


BBC Radio Nottingham Freelance Broadcast Journalist

  • Creating and editing radio packages for broadcast during ‘Breakfast’ and ‘DriveTime’ shows.

Other Experience/ Interests
