Agenda: Review the new packet of vocabulary, Practice sentences created by students, Practice sentences created by teacher, Group sign along.

Materials: Vocabulary packets

Homework- Study vocabulary sheets




Tuesday

(Have an understanding of the effects of C.I.’s on deaf people and their families)

Agenda: Start Hear and Now, Video guide

Materials: Vocabulary packets, Video Guide

Homework- Study vocabulary sheets





Wed/Thurs

Agenda: Finish Hear and Now, Finish video guide, Start Journal entry(1 page), Start Mad lib

Materials: Vocabulary packets, Video guide, Journal entry, mad lib

Friday

Agenda: Turn in journal entry, Sign mad lib to teacher, play valentine’s day bingo, review vocabulary.


Materials: Vocabulary packets, bingo sheet, journal, mad lib, vday pencils

Agenda: Go over film notes and basic talking points, Have index cards for information sheets(to use later), Review vocabulary, Practice sentences, practice numbers.

Agenda: Assessment over film, Practice different ways of telling time, numbers race, review vocabulary, Listing technique notes

Materials: Vocabulary packets, film guide/index card, notes

Agenda: Start the CL section CL:1, CL:V, CL: 3, have students watch a simple CL story, students create their own story

Materials: Vocabulary packet, projector, masl dvd, gloss paper

Agenda: Deaf Artists ppt, students do a mini in class project: create a piece of deaf art with a essay explanation on back of what the meaning of the art is supposed to be.
