Objective:

Create an 8-frame storyboard that shares what you believe to be the most critical causes of the Texas Revolution.

Causes of the Texas Revolution – Cartoon Storyboard

PRE-AP INSTRUCTIONS



Objective:

Create an 8-frame storyboard that shares what you believe to be the 4 most critical causes of the Texas Revolution and how history would have changed if one of those events had happened differently.


Requirements:

  • At least 4 of the events discussed from Chapter 9 (The Fredonian Rebellion, Teran Report, Law of April 6th, Abolishment of Slavery, Trouble at Anahuac, Battle of Velasco, Turtle Bayou Resolutions, Conventions of 1832 & 1833, Austin’s Arrest, Battle of Gonzales)

  • Last 4 frames should show how history would have changed if the final cause had happened differently
  • Must contain speech or thought bubbles that would enable someone not in the class to understand the significance of the event


  • Must be detailed, colored, and TOP QUALITY with regards to appearance

  • Should show demonstration of your knowledge of the events

  • Should have a title

  • NAME (first and last) and CLASS PERIOD labeled on the back
