The Boy Next Door is a song cycle running the gamut from hysterically funny to poignantly touching, as Joey Landwehr sings song ranging from “Answering Machine” (trying to fit in his entire life story before the beep) to “Session with a Therapist” (in which he laments that his latest crush is on the animated cartoon character Aladdin).
You won’t want to miss this charming one-night-only event!
Who: Joey Landwehr*has worked on and off Broadway, on national tours, in regional theatres and has soloed at Carnegie Hall. He has worked with such greats as Phyllis Diller, Sam Harris, Kristin Chenoweth, Joel Grey, Kaye Ballard, Michael Feinstein and the late, great Howard Keel. Some of Joey’s favorite shows have been Love! Valour! Compassion! (Buzz, Bobby & Perry), The Madness of Lady Bright (Leslie Bright), Forever Plaid (all four roles at one point or another), Jesus Christ Superstar (Peter) and The Secret Garden – National Tour (Dicken).
