The Incredible Journey Project Due Date:______________________


Objective: create a fictional narrative of a journey through the water cycle through the viewpoint of a water molecule

Project Options: Comic Strip Poem/Story Song or Rap Google Slide

Guidelines for ALL projects:


  1. Must include five unique stages of your journey that describes what’s happening to you (the water molecule)

  1. Ex. 1: I was in the ocean and the sun’s radiation changed me into a gas. I’ve been evaporated!!

  2. Ex. 2: I felt squeezed through the leaves of the mighty oak tree as she transpired me back to the atmosphere as water vapor.

  1. Must include five vocabulary words learned in class in the proper context: evaporation, condensation, precipitation, runoff, and transpiration.

Comic Strips:

  1. Must be illustrated in color.

  2. Words can be handwritten but must be legible.

  3. Must be 6 boxes in length.

Poems:

  1. Don’t have to rhyme.

  2. Must be typed.

Songs and Raps:

  1. Must be performed in class to your peers.

  2. Lyrics must be school-appropriate, typed, and turned in after performing.

Multi-media presentation: (Google Slides etc.)


  1. Must be presented in class to your peers.

  2. Must be 6 slides.
