Ask the Doctor – Free blood pressures. Ask about your risk for heart disease, BMI wheel available for questions about weight, where to get your medications for less money, the difference between the flu and a cold, etc. Visit Dr. Schorr’s table anytime during Mitzvah Day.

Breakfast Bags for ‘Aid for Friends’ – Make breakfast bags containing various items for the frail and elderly. Help decorate the paper bags that will hold the breakfast foods.

Canned Goods Collection and Separation - Separate food into kosher and non-kosher categories. Check expiration dates.
Every child is requested to bring at least one non-perishable food item to Sunday School on Mitzvah Day. Boxed cereals especially needed!

Knitting/Crocheting – Bring / Make 8 X 8 squares for afghans
to be donated to St. Mary Cancer Center and Greenwood House. Make gloves, mittens, hats, scarves for the needy. Yarn provided or bring your own – bring your own hooks and needles.

Mensch Warehouse – The Mensch Warehouse Bar Mitzvah suit exchange is collecting very gently used boys suits to donate to Jewish families in Northeast Philadelphia. SUITS MUST BE DRY CLEANED AND BAGGED. Boy's dress shirts, dress shoes, belts and ties would also be appreciated. Bring your donations to the Registration Table. SHAFTY and Religious School - MULTI-MITZVAH MANIA!
SHAFTY will be coordinating projects for our youth including card making, letters to the troops, decorating flower pots and making friendship bracelets for nursing homes, decorating bookmarks to promote literacy, etc.

Shir Ami Food Pantry– Help separate food, discard outdated items, package for distribution to various agencies.
Tyler Park – Clean up on trails, remove debris and overgrown trees/bushes. Manual labor involved.

Walk for Cancer - Once again, the Early Learning Center will be sponsoring a walk in memory of Bobbi Slutzsky – a beloved teacher at our school for many years. Participants need to fill out
