Page 2 Introduction from Frazer Chesterman, FESPA Exhibitions Director Page 3 FESPA 2007 Visitor Highlights – a summary of some of the new product launches and European debuts planned for the exhibition Pages 4 – 145 A – Z Exhibitor Information
INTRODUCTION FROM EXHIBITIONS DIRECTOR FRAZER CHESTERMAN FESPA 2007 is set to be the biggest on record.
I said the same about FESPA 2005, but the exhibition continues to grow, in fact compared with FESPA 2005 this show is going to be bigger and better. With an unprecedented: number of exhibitors (over 600), 11 halls and stand space of 32,000m². I can’t wait to open the doors on Tuesday 5th June.
Not only is it the pure size of the exhibition, but the quality of the exhibitors - all of whom place a great amount of effort to make this THE screen and digital printing show to attend across the world. FESPA 2007 is also being used by many of the exhibitors as the event to launch their new products – making it a ‘must attend event’.
Part of FESPA’s success lies in the range of products and technology on show. I like to use the analogy of a car show. You would not bother going to a show where all you will see is one range from one manufacturer, for example the BMW 320s. You want to see the full range they have to offer – Coupes, 4WD, Diesel, Automatics, 5 series, different specs, etc. You want to see the widest range and the newest models. And that is why so many people come to FESPA.
We are pleased this year to have the support of a number of colleagues such as HP, Marabu, EFI VUTEk and SAATI, we recognise that all exhibitors who see our shows as a MUST for their organisations help to make FESPA exhibitions a real success.
Besides the exhibitors there are a number of additional features to help you make the most of your visit. On the show floor we will have two showcase theatres providing a number of educational seminars delivered by experts of the industry on a range of topics such as a digital debate, print buyer forum and marketing skills for printers. And why not enjoy an evening’s entertainment by attending the cool, fun and swingin’ FESPA Gala Night – this informal night provides a great opportunity to network with other professionals and ‘let your hair down!’ Tickets available online www.fespa2007.com
As an organisation FESPA is expanding and we are pleased that this year, through some additional staff members, FESPA 2007 is now fully organised by the in-house exhibition team. We believe by having dedicated staff, everyone receives the best service possible.
There have also been developments to FESPA as a federation.
Part of our goal over the last two years has been to provide a comprehensive service to the industry through a number of projects. By acquiring new staff and re-investing the profits from our exhibitions back into the industry it has enabled us to provide educational facilities and services that benefit the market. We are pleased to have launched our e-learning programme, which has been well received and will be available in several languages by the end of 2007.
We are also producing a demonstrations folder showing the different effects which can be achieved using screen printing. This folder, called ‘Sensations’, will be launched at FESPA 2007, and will be distributed to a select number of printers and print buyers to help show the full potential of screen printing to produce inspirational and creative marketing in the face of a changing consumer market.
So to view these products and find out more information about the projects we are undertaking, visit the FESPA stand - G320 (Hall 3.1).
The FESPA team and I look forward to seeing you there!
Frazer Chesterman, FESPA Exhibitions Director
