It would be helpful if you were to provide any brief notes which might be necessary to understand the context of the information provided, although I recognise that you are not obliged to do this.

How do you collate the figures.
I understand that many thefts are simply recorded as lost animals rather than stolen, do you have any guidence to officers in relation to this point as to how they diffrentiate dog theft and other types of theft?
If you have allocated an officer to specifically oversee this crime in your area then I would be grateful if I could have their contact details.
I would also be interested to know how sucessful you are at getting dogs back to their owners and if you catch the perpetrators how many cases reach court?

As part of my research I am requesting information on the numbers of 'strip searches' that have taken place within Suffolk Constabulary. From a previous unsuccessful FOI, I was informed today that
Over a period of 5 years, detainees had 'Authorisation of strip search' noted in over 3660 records.
I would like to establish individually whether a strip search took place, and the outcomes, yet due to the costs associated with checking each log you have claimed that the time cost would exceed 280 hours of work. I recognize my request was broad yet I must state that since I am not familiar with your organisations computer search facilities I am forced to make assumptions.
I would note that I do not see why you took the full 20 working days to respond, and can only assume this is a deliberate delay process that implies an uncooperative nature.
However you have, and therefore can, make an automatic search on the constabulary custody system for the 'Authorisation of strip search' information.
Therefore I request the following...

A system search on the Authorisation of strip searches dating from...

January 2011 to December 2015
I request the information to be provided as a monthly figure, for example...

Jan 2011 - 58 cases

Feb 2011 - 60 cases

....

Nov 2015 - 40 cases

Dec 2015 - 80 cases

Effectively I'm requesting 60 brief searches and this is my prime request.

As a secondary request I would like to know whether the 3660 authorisations could be quickly obtained to determine the ethnic / sexual / age breakdown? If such information can only be obtained from individual logon of each case then this will exceed the 'appropriate limit' and you will not provide this, otherwise please do.

I am currently conducting a research study exploring stalking offences, specifically those perpetrated where the victim is 'male' and also where the perpetrators are 'strangers'.
Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000/Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, I am writing to request anonymous information about recorded stalking offences (The Protection of Freedoms Act 2012/Protection from Harassment Act 1997) that have been reported and recorded by your constabulary between 1st January 2014 and 31st December 2015.
I have attached two data request forms which has been designed to try and make this process as easy as possible. The first requests anonymous individual level data specifically related to stalking offences recorded during this period (January 2014-December 2015) where the perpetrator has been categorised as a 'stranger'. The second requests anonymous individual level data where the victim's gender is 'male'. Please note, for the latter request involving male victims, this request is not limited to cases where the perpetrator is a stranger.
If this request is too wide or unclear, I would be grateful if you could contact me as I understand that under the Act, you are required to advise and assist requesters.
I would prefer to receive this data electronically (by email) but would also accept hard copies of the data to the address contained in my email signature below. Please inform me if you have sent a hard copy of the data, otherwise I will anticipate an electronic response.

These child deaths were also a matter under consideration of attorney general in a Section 13 application by Roger Evans MP a barrister seeking to quash the suicide verdict on Matron McGill Sue Ryder HQ Cavendish 1972.
Please disclose the reports Chief constable made to the attorney general about his case compromised visit to Lord Henniker. If it is the case that Chief constable made the visit without informing attorney general or HM Coroner please make that your FOI response.
https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/public_authority_status_leonard#followup
Please read this FOI which also relates to current application to Attorney General. I have asked for internal review to allow for the Attorney General Correspondence Unit to report to the Attorney General.
As I understand it when Roger Evans MP Monmouth a barrister made a Section 13 Coroners Act 1988 application to Attorney General Lyell 1992 the attorney general had to copy the application to HM Coroner Bury St Edmunds. By Law. The HM Coroner then IIRC contacted Chief constable including about the six years of disabled child deaths Beeches Ixworth, in Islington and Hackney Care, 1966 to 1972. And about the case under Section 13 suicide verdict quash application Matron McGill Sue Ryder HQ 1972.
This then was the context in which the Chief learned about Leonard Cheshire prognosis and the intimidation and document burglary against the retired RCS Det constable in Gwent.
So now we need to know what Chief got up to by visiting HENNIKER whose estate had ISLINGTON Social Services abuse connections and whether Chief reported facts to the Attorney General re his Section 13 duty to widely consider the public interest.

In August 2013, the government introduced new measures with the aim of deterring people from being in the incorrect lane for their speed - what is commonly called ‘Middle Lane Hogging’.
Specifically, I would like to know the following:

- How many fines/fixed penalties have you issued which may be related to the above offence? (For example, undertaking, tailgating or driving too slowly.)

I would like details of the number of vehicles recorded exceeding the 60mph speed limit on the Orwell Bridge between 1 October 2016 and 31 October 2016.

I would like to know the number of vehicles that were recorded as exceeding the limit by the average speed cameras and whose drivers were contacted as a result.

I would like to know how many of these resulted in:

a) Drivers taking speed awareness courses.

b) Drivers issued with a fixed penalty notice resulting in points on their licence.

I would also like to know the fastest speed recorded on the bridge during October that resulted in police action (ie disregarding emergency vehicles legitimately exceeding the limit).

I would also like updated figures on fixed penalties/speed awareness courses from the 4,046 driver caught speeding between July and September.

I am writing to submit a freedom of information request. I am sending the same request to all 43 Police Forces in England and Wales and to Police Scotland, hence one standard request with 44 email addresses.
My request concerns the number of cyclists who have died on public roads in the three years to 31st December 2015.
Background
Whilst all fatal accidents on the highway have to be notified to the police, the Department for Transport Stats 20 criteria provide that the police stats 19 reports should exclude those deaths which are determined to be from natural causes. Accordingly the stats 19 figures exclude the deaths of cyclists reported to the police which are then omitted from the official stats 19 figures because of a determination that the death was by natural causes.
Request
Can you please confirm, for your police force area and for each of the last four calendar years (2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015), how many cyclists deaths on the Highway (road in Scotland), which were reported or notified to your police force, were determined to be deaths by natural causes, details of which were subsequently omitted from the annual stats 19 return.

Whilst I do not live in your County I am a law abiding, voting, British citizen who pays higher rate tax and expects our countries Police force to enforce ALL laws in our country with highest standards of integrity, without bias or prejudice, with consistency and without discrimination. I would hope that as a Chief Constable you would agree that this is a reasonable expectancy from the voting public ?

I am therefore totally dismayed at the illegal hunting that seems to be allowed & tolerated by police forces in this country. Only yesterday (Saturday 22/10) a female fox was chased to her death by 40 hounds in your county while "the hunt" took part in illegal (picture below) , criminal activity contrary to law. Firstly can I confirm that you and your force are actually aware that fox hunting is in fact illegal ? Secondly I would be fascinated to hear of the statistics on how many active investigations your force have mounted into this illegal activity and how many individuals or "hunts" have formally been charged by your police force since The inception of the ban, despite illegal activity happening most weekends ? I doubt you will answer the second question as I guess it would indicate that generally you turn a blind eye and therefore chose to police via double standards.

Let me please remind you that in the last national survey 84% of the British public supported the ban. If it is the case that you chose to ignore illegal hunting activity in your county then it does really show a complete lack of integrity & professionalism coupled with a subconscious bias and therefore discrimination of what laws are chosen to be recognised and which aren't.
Whilst I doubt a single email will provoke the required response I hope it will make you aware of the strong anti-hunt feeling and the growing lack of trust in various police forces that chose to ignore or actively pursue criminal activity in contravention of the hunting ban.
