SECTION 12

Initially on Sept 28th 2016, I requested the numbers of Strip Searches performed by Suffolk Police in the last 5 years and more importantly "as a direct result of these strip searches, what were the numbers of searches that resulted in illegal substances / items that were concealed in the suspects body"
In this previous FOI request response (003570-16) it was stated:

"each record would have to be accessed in order to a) establish whether the strip search did take place and b) the outcome...it was estimated that each access would take approx 5 minutes per record"

18 hours / 5 minutes = 192 records.
This clearly limits my ability to access the entire record base (as referenced in the previous FOI 003905-16) therefore I will have to extrapolate 3 sample months to analyse. I have chosen the following…

2013 – April – 63 records

2014 – Dec – 67 records

2015 – Sept – 51 records

= 181 records (from FOI 003905-16)

In conclusion I am requesting that you access the 181 records and provide the following information:

1. Whether an actual strip search took place?

2. From these searches how many resulted in retrieval of illegal substances / illegal items within the body of the person searched?

Ideally in the following format:
2013 - April

Authorisations / Actual strip search / Records with Illegal items found 'in' body

63 ## ##
2014 – Dec

Authorisations / Actual strip search / Records with Illegal items found 'in' body

67 ## ##
2015 - Sept

Authorisations / Actual strip search / Records with Illegal items found 'in' body

51 ## ##

RE: REQUEST FOR INFORMATION UNDER THE FOIA
I am seeking information about police captures of prisoners who have either escaped or absconded from custody. I have previously applied for this information from the Ministry of Justice but have been instructed the information is held by the local polices.
Please could you tell me (in an anonymised format):
The date and location of each prison escape or abscond from lawful custody and where and when they were re-arrested/found (during the past two years).

Where possible, and if the information, please could you also provide in each instance the reason for the escape/absconsion and whether there was any significance in the location in which they were re-captured (e.g home of friends/parents etc)

The purpose of my request, in case it helps, is to establish some idea of where those who escape from custody go, and why.

Please tell me the number of sex offences recorded against under 18s that took place in a sports ground, sports / leisure centre or swimming pool where the occupation of the suspect was as a sports coach, lifeguard or sports volunteer.

I would like details of these offences over a two-year period (2014 and 2015), broken down by year, by age group and gender of the victim.

I would prefer to receive these in electronic format at this email address.

Please answer my request within the spirit of the FOI Act. If some part information is unavailable (eg occupation) I ask that you provide me with the rest of the information I have requested.

If fewer than five incidents were recorded, and my request prompts a s.40 exemption, I would prefer you to just omit factors that could identify the victim, rather than reject the request outright.

Dear Suffolk Police and Crime Commissioner,
Please can you provide information about how much is the total cost of all calls made to 101 and direct Police /Constabulary Numbers. In 2014, 15 and 16.
I would like this information for the whole of the UK but by region will suffice.
I would also like to know if mobile operators charge different rates for these calls - what are they?
If you have any information about departments or people looking at expenses incurred by civilians, please can you make this available too.
CLARIFICATION:

Following the request for details of Cost of calls to 101 and direct police numbers in 2014,2015,2016.

I am looking into civilian expenses in support of government funded (community-oriented) service provisions, such as the Police. When referring to the cost of calls I am referring to the expenses incurred by citizens for using 101, landline and 999 services.
To be able to have a full picture I would need -

1 -Cost to the Constabulary for all telecommunications

2 - What is paid by the State and budgeted for
3 - Cost to the tax payer /service user - for 101 landline and 999 calls

4 - Additional fees made by mobile providers for civilian use of 101, landline and 999 calls (this may be out of your remit entirely but perhaps you can suggest where the information may be available?)

5 - If you have a breakdown of where civilian expense is necessary and expected and what the limits are to this. (this may be in prose rather than numerical).

For you information/ assistance - I am keen to petition mobile companies to ensure that calls to the Police, 999, 101 and landline numbers are not charged for AT ALL in line with the funding objectives of Government and to ensure that private companies do not make profit out of service users in extreme circumstances, as these calls often are.

Q1) How many crimes were recorded in your constabulary that were related to traffic crimes identified as ‘road rage’ incidents, in the years 2016 (to date), 2015, 2014, 2013 and 2012? Please split by year.
By ‘road rage’ I refer to either a crime that was described at the time of the police report as ‘road rage’ or any assault or damage to a property that followed a road traffic accident. These could also be incidents where the offence was identified as ‘driving aggressively’ or ‘driving in a panic’.
Q2) For each year, could you then provide a list of crimes which satisfy any of the above conditions, broken down so it is clear how many of the different types of crime have occurred – e.g., Criminal Damage, Violence Against the Person etc.

Dear Freedom of Information Officer,

I am seeking information about on-street parking in Suffolk. Apologies if you have already receieved this request - I initially asked councils in the area, who said I needed to speak to the police, and I'm not sure if any have passed on my request to you or not.

I am writing with a Freedom of Information request with regards to the following information:

1) In the first nine months of this year (January 1 - September 30 2016), how many parking fines (Penalty Charge Notices) have you issued?

2) How much do these parking fines add up to in £, using the reduced fine amount if paid within a certain period of time AND the initial fine amount. (for example "X council have issued fines adding up to between £50,000 and £100,000 depending on whether the driver paid within 14 days or waited until the 28 day limit"). This is not how much money you recieved from fines, but asking if everyone had paid their fines, how much would your issued fines be worth.

3) Of those that paid fines issued between January 1 and September 30 2016, how much money was paid?

4) How many of the parking fines issued between January 1 - September 30 were not paid (this does not include people currently challenging the fine, but people who have missed the deadlines set by the council to pay the fine and have simply not paid).

5) How much do these unpaid fines add up to in £? (again using the reduced amount and initial amount as formatted in question 2).

6) How many of the parking fines issued between January 1 - September 30 were challenged / appealed?

7) How many of those challenged fines were successful in their appeal and were subsequently 'let off' paying the fine?

8) At the last census or count, how many people lived in Suffolk?

9) How many parking fines did the worst single driver / offender in Suffolk eceive in the first nine months of the year?

Thank you for your time,

Please do not hesitate to get in touch with me with regards to clarifications etc.
