The science fiction short story contest

To mark the 150th birthday of Herbert George Wells (1846-1966), one of the founders of the science fictin genre in literature and the author of the classic novels such as The War of the Worlds, The Time Machine, The Invisible Man, etc, Uzicka gimnazija organises a short story writing competition.

Contestants are to write a science fiction short story in 300 - 1,000 words and submit it to their English teacher by the 25th October, 2016.

Here are a couple of science fiction story starters to help with your writing.
