  • 2012 Open End Design Agreements – professional design services for small projects limited to $50,000 per contract and $150,000 per year, on an as-needed basis, for the following disciplines; Architecture & Related Services, Civil/Site Engineering & Related Services, Commissioning, Construction Services, MEP &Related Services, Surveying, Transportation

    • Designers – qualification submittals were due August 17, 2011. Selections will be announced December 2011 timeframe

  • Bioinformatics Center Emergency Cooling System – this project will add a 155 nominal ton air cooled chiller to the Bioinformatics Building on the CRI campus, which will interface to an existing building chilled water distribution system served from a Regional Utility Plant

    • Estimated Construction Cost – $400K

  • Cedar, Hickory, and Sycamore Residence Halls Renovations – design and construction administration for the Phase IV Residence Halls (Cedar, Hickory, Sycamore) consisting of approximately 18,450sf per Hall. Renovations will require bringing buildings up to current code, installation of new elevators, mechanical systems, windows, roofs and possibility of reconfiguring individual suites

  • Charlotte Research Institute (CRI) Electrical Circuit – design and install a 12,470 volt circuit from the new substation to the CRI campus and decommission of the old substation

  • High Rise Road & Utilities – install a new roadway to extend Cameron Blvd from the vicinity of the Chancellor’s house to the front entrance circle of the campus as well as a water main and a combined electrical and telecom duct bank to be located under the road as well as utility lines from the South Village Regional Utility Plant IV
