The Western Massachusetts American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) is a Quaker grassroots social justice and peace organization. AFSC is guided by a belief in nonviolence and in the inherent worth of every person, as well as by faith in the power of Love – and a little good organizing – to overcome conflict and injustice. Founded in 1968 by Frances Crowe, the Western Massachusetts AFSC office is located in Florence, Massachusetts.
