TWO MILITANTS OF BABBAR KHALSA INTERNATIONAL ARRESTED.
TWO STAR MAKE PISTOLS ALONGWITH 11 LIVE CARTRIDGES RECOVERED.
A team of officers of Special Cell led by Inspr. Pankaj Sood, Inspr. Sandeep Malhotra, Inspr. Attar Singh and Yugraj Krishan Bhatia under the supervision of Sh Ravi Shankar, ACP has busted a module of Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) with the apprehension of two terrorists. They were absconding since December 2007. With their apprehension the nefarious designs of BKI to revive militancy in Punjab has been thwarted. One .30 Star make pistol and one .22 Star make pistol with 11 live cartridges have been recovered from the possession of these militants.
On 19.03.2008, acting on a specific information two militants Jaswant Singh @ Kala (aged 31 years ) R/o Distt. Muktsar, Punjab and Surender Singh @ Fauzi @ Monu, (aged 22 years), R/o Distt. Jallandhar, Punjab were apprehended from Satluj Bridge, Moga Road, Distt. Jallandhar, Punjab.
It may be recalled that Jagtar Singh Hawar, Paramjeet Singh Bheora and Jagtar Singh Tara were arrested in Punjab for the assassination of the then Chief Minister Sh Beant Singh. They were able to escape from Burail jail in January, 2004 after digging a tunnel of 100 ft. Subsequently Jagtar Singh Hawara was arrested by Delhi Police in June, 2005 in connection with twin blasts that took place in Delhi at Liberty and Satyam Cinema halls. After his arrest Paramjeet Singh Bheora was made the Chief of BKI in India . The Special cell was able to arrest Paramjeet Singh Bheora in 2006 alongwith his associates while Jagtar Singh Tara escaped to Pakistan.
The Interrogation of the arrested BKI terrorists revealed that the Chief of BKI Wadhwa Singh is presently living in Pakistan and he is managing the whole operation through his son in law Satnam Singh based in Germany and some other associates based in USA and UK. The BKI had planned to target some of the religious leaders in Punjab. In this connection four militants i.e Baljeet Singh @ Bahu @ Pahu R/o Mohali, Punjab, Bikkar Singh @ Bant Singh @ Kala R/o Sangrur, Punjab, Kulwinder Singh @ Happy R/o Ludhiana, Punjab and Tirlochan Singh, R/o Panchkula, Haryana were arrested by Special cell on 31.12.2007 while they had receed one of their targets. The team has been working on the lead which came through the interrogation of those terrorist and with the result two more terrorists have been arrested now.
Jaswant Singh is a close associate of Jagtar Singh Hawara and Surender Singh @ Fauzi @ Monu (PO). He was arrested by Punjab police in July, 2005 in a case of Arms Act and Explosive Substance Act. While he was in jail he came in contact with Daya Singh Lahoria, Chief of Khalistan Liberation Force (KLF), Tahal Singh and Baljeet Singh Pahu, a notorious smuggler of arms, drugs and fake currency.
After his release (Baljeet Singh Pahu), he arranged the bail of Jaswant Singh after receiving money from his mentors based in foreign country. Jaswant Singh came out of jail in January, 2007 and contacted Baljeet Singh Pahu for further activities. Baljeet Singh Pahu was arrested by Special cell of Delhi on 31.12.2007 and thereafter Jaswant Singh motivated Surender Singh @ Fauzi @ Monu for this task.

DATED 20.3.2008 A team of officers of Special Cell led by Inspr. Devender Singh under the supervision of Sh.L.N. Rao, ACP has apprehended a conman Sunder Lal r/o Jahangir Puri, Delhi, presently residing at Mohali, Punjab. He is a member of gang involved in the one of the biggest scam in which his gang had duped various multinational banks of Rs. 8 crores. The kingpin of the gang Sarabjit Singh @ Raja alongwith two associates were arrested by Delhi Police earlier but other members were at large.
In the year,1995/96, Sarabjit Juneja @ Raja was lodged in Tihar Jail in a case of Auto theft while Sunder Lal was lodged in Tihar Jail for a murder case. They became friends and after their release from Jail they formed a gang and decided to dupe multinational banks. For this they adopted a novel modus operandi. The gang opened three companies Russel Health System Ltd., Remsons Medical & Pharmaceuticals Ltd. and Clark Schneider Bio India Ltd. The offices of these companies were located at different addresses in Delhi. Thereafter, as per their plan they appointed number of persons as their employee. The gang then opened the salary accounts of their employees in different multi national banks and on the basis of these salary accounts applied for various kinds of loans, such as auto loans personal loans, credit cards etc. The loans were procured with fake identity and forged documents of the employees. The gang members posed as Directors and employees of these companies. The gang had duped the banks over Rs 8 crores within a short span of one year. Four cases of cheating and forgery have been registered at PS Connaught Place in this regard:

FIR No. 221/07 U/s 420/467/468/471/120-B/34 IPC, PS Connaught Place is in Delhi, in which Sunder Lal was absconding to evade his arrest since last one year.
After the arrest of Sarabjit, Sunder Lal fled from Delhi and started living in a rented accommodation in Mohali (Punjab). A specific information was received by the team of Special Cell, that Sunder Lal is in Delhi and will board a bus for Chandhigarh/Mohali from ISBT, Kashmeri Gate, Delhi in the evening. Accordingly a trap was laid near ISBT and Sunder Lal was arrested.

GANG OF BURGLARS BUSTED: 150 KGS. OF STOLEN COPPER AND SILVER SCRAP RECOVERD.
With the arrest of 5 persons namely i) Mohd. Savej @ Gunga, aged 21 years, S/o Shahid Hassan, r/o Nihal Vihar, Nangloi, Delhi, ii) Rakesh, aged 19 years, S/o Naval Prasad also resident of Nihal Vihar, Nangloi, Delhi, iii) Ravi, aged 19 years, s/o Ashok, r/o Bani Camp, Nangloi, Delhi, iv) Nitin, aged 19 years, s/o Gurbachan Singh, r/o Punjabi Bagh, Delhi and women receiver v) Kamlesh @ Vimlesh, aged 50 years, d/o Dharampal, r/o Sultanpur Majra, Delhi, the Crime Branch, Delhi has successfully busted a gang of active burglars and receiver of stolen property. The Police team has also recovered 150 Kgs. of stolen copper and silver scrap from their possession. With their arrest Police has also solved 6 cases of burglaries and theft.
INCIDENT & TEAM
Information was being developed about the gang for the past fortnight by the Police team consisting of ASI Rishi, HCs Dilawar, Surender, Sanjay, Naresh, Cts. Anand, Shi Kumar, Krishan and W/Ct. Laxmi led by Inspr. Jitender of Special Investigation Team, Crime Branch and under close supervision of Dr. Joy N. Tirkey, ACP/SIT, Crime Branch. On 18.3.08 investigation of case FIR No. 172/08 u/s. 457/380-IPC PS Nangloi was transferred to Special Investigation Team, Crime Branch, Delhi. The complainant Sh. Sukhwinder Singh had reported that on 15.3.08 his metal wire factory at DSIDC, Nangloi, Delhi had been burgled and about 100-150 Kgs of copper and silver metal wire had been stolen.
Acting on the secret information at about 4.00 p.m. on 19.3.08 four main accused persons namely Mohd. Savej, Rakesh, Ravi and Nitin were apprehended near Railway Fatak, No. 4, Sultanpuri, while they were on their way to dispose off some of the stolen property. At their instance Kamlesh @ Vimlesh was apprehended from her scrap shop in Village Sultanpur Majra. The accused persons had sold off part of the stolen goods to her a few day ago which was recovered from her shop. All the copper and silver metal wire that had been stolen, has been recovered.
INTERROGATION & MODUS OPERANDI
During the course of sustained interrogation the accused persons revealed that they used to identify their target during the day time. This is not difficult for them as most of the gang members live in the nearby areas of Nangloi. They strike at night/early morning hours and take away the loot on their cycle rickshawas after breaking open the locks. Sometimes they break through the window grill. In the present case they came in through the corrugated metal roof. They sell off the loot to Kamlesh @ Vimlesh within a day or two who sells it off further to any of her customers who chance upon her shop.
The accused persons were arrested in case FIR No. 172/08 u/s. 457/380-IPC, PS Nangloi. They disclosed their involvement in five other such cases of burglaries and other theft they have committed in the area of PS Nangloi, Delhi in the past 2 ½ months duration. Accused Mohd Savej @ Gunga, the leader of the gang has got education upto 7th standard. He used to works part time at a Screen Printing Shop at Peera Garhi. He is found involved in 3 criminal cases including murder and burglary. Accused Rakesh is also 8th standard pass and used to work in a Lamination Unit in Raghubir Nagar and found involved in one case of burglary. Accused Ravi is a illiterate person and works as construction worker and expert in laying ceiling meshes. He is found involved in 2 criminal cases including one case of burglary and one case of Arms Act. Accused Nitin is also 8th standard pass and used to work as a part time motor spare parts salesman. He is found involved in 2 criminal cases of burglary and chain snatching. Accuse lady Kamlesh @ Vimlesh is the receiver of stolen property is a scrap dealer, however, she was not found involved in any criminal cases.
Further investigation of the case is in progress. More recoveries are likely to affect in this case.
REWARDED CONTRACT KILLER AND DESPERATE MEMBER OF INDER LANGRA GANG NABBED : WANTED IN SENSATIONAL MURDER CASE OF WAZIRPUR SWAI MADHOPUR, RAJASTHAN.
With the arrest of a person namely Asharaf @ ASlam @ Affasar, aged 28 years, s/o Abdul Rehman @ Chhuttan r/o Sikandrabad, Bulandshahar, U.P., the Crime Branch, Delhi has successfully arrested an active gang member of Inder Langra Gang. The Police team has also recovered one country made pistol .315 bore with 2 live cartridges from his possession. His involvement in a robbery case of PS Sarita Vihar is being ascertained.
INCIDENT & TEAM
The Police team ISC Crime Branch consisting of SI Manjeet Tomar, ASIs Devender, Ravinder Singh, HCs Rajiv Mohan, Subodh, Rajender Singh, Cts. Vijender and Devender led by Inspr. K.P. Singh under the close supervision of Sh. Udai Vir Singh Rathi, ACP/ISC, Crime Branch was working on Inder Langra Gang whose gang membes are active in the NCR. On 19.3.2008 the police team received a specific information that accused Asharaf who is an active member of Inder Lagra Gang and wanted in murder case of Rajasthan and Robbery cases, would be coming to meet his associates between 4.30 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. at bus stand Okhla. It was also informed that he would be carrying illegal arms. On this information a Police team immediately swung into action and laid a trap near the expected place of arrival i.e. bus stand Okhla. At about 5.00 p.m. the source pointed out towards accused Asharaf who was coming from Abulfazal Enclave side towards bus stand Okhla. When the accused found himself surrounded by the police, he tried to escape but alert police team overpowered him in a professional manner and recovered one loaded country made pistol .315 bore with live cartridge from his possession.
INTERROGATION & PROFILE
The accused Ashraf is a desperate criminal and active gang member of Inder Langra Gang who is active in NCR and involved in heinous crime. He started his criminal career since one and half years ago. During the course of sustained interrogation accused revealed the dangerous and desperate personality traits of the accused. He can get to any extent for money. He has never been arrested before this. He further disclosed about having committed a contract killing of one Hari Singh Meena resident of Wazirpur, Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan, in which one Vimlesh @ Bitto resident of Ahmad Garh, Bulandshahar, U.P. was married to Hari Singh Meena. Vimlesh @ Bitto fell in love with one Om Prakash of the Wazirpur, Rajasthan. Gradually Vimlesh and her paramour found Hari Singh Meena as a hurdle in their love affair. They decided to eliminate Hari Singh Meena, so that their love affair can go unabated. In order to kill Hari Singh Meena they confided in Kirpal Singh, brother of the Vimlesh @ Batto and sought his help. They hatched the conspiracy and to execute the plan Kirpal Singh roped in accused Asharaf and his associates. He promised the accused a sum of Rs. 1.50 lacs for executing the murder. Accused Asharaf and his associates were in need of money and agreed to kill Hari Singh Meena. They were paid Rs. 20,000/- in advance and the remaining money was promised after the execution of the plan. On 11.1.07 accused Ashram alongwith his associates as well as Kirpal Singh reached Wazir Pur, Rajasthan and identified Hari Singh. As per plan, on the same night, Asharaf and his associates entered in the house of Hari Singh and in a gruesome manner strangulated Hari Singh Meena to death without giving him a chance. Accused Asharaf absconded after the murder and was giving slip to the local police. Subsequently the proceeding to declare him Proclaimed Offender were initiated by the Police. Rajasthan Police has also declared a reward of Rs. 2500/- on his arrest in this murder case. His role is being probed in the robbery of cash from a Petrol Pump Manager, in Sarita Vihar area.
Accused Asharaf was arrested under Arms Act at PS Jamia Nagar, Delhi. Further efforts are on to apprehend the other gang members. Other antecedent of the criminals are being verified. The concerned Police Stations have been informed about his arrest. Further investigation of the case is going on.

ILLICIT LIQUOR BOTTLING UNIT UNEARTHED : TWO ARRESTED : BOTTLING MACHINE AND OTHER FAKE MATERIAL SEIZED.
With the arrest of two persons namely i) Shyam Babu, aged 36 years, s/o
Ramlal, and ii) Ghat Karan Vashisht, aged 32 years, s/o Mohel Lal both resident of Shahbad Dairy, Bawana, Delhi, the Police team of Crime Branch unearthed a bottling unit of illicit liquor. The Police team also recovered 2 cartons of adulterated spurious liquor in quarters, about thousand “Shokeen” labels, About 500 bottle caps, Machine for capping bottles, Numerous empty bottles.
INCIDENT & TEAM
The Holi festival is around the corner. Traditionally during the Holi festival sale of liquor increases. Information was received to the Police team consisting of SI Ram Avtar, SI Sunil and others led by Inspr. Jitender under close supervision of Dr. Joy N. Tirkey, ACP/SIT, Crime Branch, Delhi that some criminals were manufacturing illicit liquor, bottling it with fake stickers and then selling liquor in the surrounding resettlement colonies in Prehladpur Area. This information was further developed. On 18.3.08 the above said team raided a small room in the Prehladpur and apprehended the above mentioned two persons red handed while they were preparing the adulterated country made liquor. A case of Excise Act was registered against them in Police Station Bawana.
INTERROGATION & PROFILE
During the course of sustained interrogation the accuses Shyam Babu revealed that he alongwith his associate Ramaudhgar decided to smuggle liquor across the border, increase its volume by mixing water etc. and then sell it in the resettlement colonies of Shahbad Dairy after rebottling it. He and Ramaudhgar met Ghat Karan Vashisht who had a spare room in his house in Prehladpur. They rented a room for Rs. 600/- per month about a month ago. They started smuggling liquor “Murthal No. 1” and other brands of country made liquor from across the border. They procured empty, quarter size bottles and stickers of “Shokeen” brand country made liquor of NCT of Delhi. They procured bottle caps of Delhi Excise. A machine to cap the bottles has also been recovered from their possession. A large number of empty bottles, both empty Murthal No. 1 bottles and the small quarter size bottles that they filled up with adulterated country made liquor. Their operation was smooth. They could make four bottles for every three of liquor smuggled. Impending Holi they were planning a big haul and sale, but they were apprehended at right time.
Accused Shyam Babu is a illiterate person and used to work as TSR driver. He is found involved in two cases of Excise Act. Accused Ghat Karan Vashisht is also 5th standard pass and used to work as freelance photographer.

FAKE VISA RACKET UNEARTHED : FAKE VISA, ORIGINAL PASSPORTS AND COMPUTER CONTAINING VISA PREPARATION SOFTWARD SEIZED.
With the arrest of two persons namely i) Vishal Bakshi @ Vijay, aged 35 years, s/o Subhash bakshi r/o Subhash Nagar, Delhi and ii) Parminder Singh Walia @ Abahay Walia @ Vicky @ Bansal, aged 29 years, s/o Kanwaljeet Walia also resident of Subhash Nagar, New Delhi, the Crime Branch, Delhi has busted a fake VISA racket, which is involved in cheating innocent victims of Punjab, Haryana and Delhi. The Police team also recovered fake visa, original passports of innocent victims and computer containing VISA preparing software from their possession.
INCIDENT & TEAM
The complainant Sh. Balbir Singh of Kurukshetra, Haryana, made a complaint in Crime Branch regarding cheating as mentioned above. The complaint was marked to Interstate Cell, Crime Branch, Chanakyapuri Delhi for further necessary action. During the enquiry of this complaint the Interstate Cell found that a racket was being run from a rented flat at Fateh Nagar, Tilak Nagar, Delhi. A team led by Insp. K G Tyagi including SI Mukesh, ASI Jai Singh, ASI Rajbir, HC Omender, HC Shiv Kunar, HC Narender, HC Sanjay, Ct. Rambir, of Interstate Cell started looking for the perpetrators. After discreet enquiry, local intelligence was collected. Based on these inputs on 16/03/08 a flat at Fateh Nagar, Tilak Nagar, Delhi was raided. Accused Vishal Bakshi was apprehended from there. Fake VISA documents, Passports of different victims, computer with scanner and printer, pen drive, fake demand letter of companies, etc have been seized. On the pointing out of Vishal another accused Abhay Walia was apprehended from his house and Passports of different victims along with the Passport of complainant were recovered from his possession.
On sustained interrogation the accused persons admitted to their involvement in the cheating racket. The cheaters were based in Delhi and download vacancies of various companies of Canada and Australia from Internet, then they contact with persons who wants to go to abroad in better future. Then they prepare fake demand letter of the company and allure their victim to give money for VISA and other expenses. After receiving money from their clients they show fake VISA and other employment documents to their clients, and put their all documents in a traveler bag. After reaching at the airport, they replaced the bag with an identical traveler bag. When victim appear before officials for clearance, he would found that his bag was changed mistakenly. Then accused persons advise him to get lodge a report of missing documents and bag and advise him to go to police for duplicate passport etc. The cheaters changed their offices frequently in Delhi.
MODUS OPERANDI :-
Parminder Singh Walia @ Abhay Walia along with accomplices Narender Pal Chadha and Gurpreet @ Prabhjot, who have not been arrested yet, used to find such persons who want to go aboard in the search of job and better future. Then they allure their victims to send them in western countries, Canada and Australia. Vishal Bakshi who is an expert in computer programming downloads vacancies using internet, from the websites of foreign companies.
Then they would download the name address and other details of companies as well as requirement of employees. Vishal Bakshi prepared fake appointment letters, Visas, work permits using name, address and other details of company based in Canada or Austalia and showed to their clients. They promised their client to send them to Canada and Australia. They took of Rs. 8 lacs to 10 lacs for each person. After taking money one of the accused persons would hand over a traveler’s bag to the client and ask him to put his passport, Visa etc in the bag. One other identical bag would in the possession of another gang member having some clothes and other traveling goods inside the bag and he would wait for replacing the bag of their client on some pretext. After getting chance he immediately changed the bag with identical bag and replaced the bag containing fake VISA and passport of client. When the client goes to the counter for clearance, he found that his bag was mistakenly exchanged. Then accused persons advised his client to get a report lodged with police to get duplicate passport, Visa etc
The initial investigation so far has revealed that over dozen of persons have been duped by this gang till now. Most of these victims belong to Punjab, Delhi and Haryana. Efforts are being made to get in touch with these victims. An exact figure of fraud is yet to be reached.
All the three accused were arrested vide FIR No, 132/08 dated 15/03/08 u/s 420/120B IPC PS. Saraswati Vihar, Delhi. Other antecedents of the accused persons are being ascertained. Further investigation in the case is going on.
Accused Vishal Bakshi @ Vijay was born in Govindpuri, Delhi on 23rd October
1973. He did his graduation from Delhi University. He had done diploma course in Electronics, Advance networking and certificate in Computer Animation. He had worked as Electronic Data Processing Manager in HP Export for 3 years and had also worked for 5 years in Zercon System Ltd., as a Project Leader. After that he left his job and started his own work of BPO. He wanted to be rich quickly and fallen in bad company.
Kanwaljeet Walia was born in Calcutta on 25th August 1979. His family came to Delhi in 1980. He had done his school education from Air force Golden Jublee School, Subroto Park, Delhi. He could not continue his education together. He along with his friend Deepak started the work as air ticketing agent from their office at Rajendra Place, Delhi, but they could not succeed. Again he started the same business along with Rajeev Sharma of Rohini but met the same fate. For some period he did job at call center in Gurgaon but that job too did not satisfy him. He came into contact of Vishal Bakshi who allured him and got into the crime of cheating people in the name of sending them abroad.

CANTER LOAD OF CATTLE HEADS SEIZED
INTRODUCTION As a drive against illegal ferrying of cattle and preventing cruelty against animals, the South District police has seized a canter load of cattle heads consisting of 291 cattle stuffed on an Eicher –409, canter being ferried from Haryana to UP and arrested four persons.
INCIDENT As a drive against cruelty to animals being transported in inhospitable condition, from Haryana to UP via Delhi special drive was launched on the direction of Sh. Bhisham Singh ACP/Sarita Vihar under the supervision of SHO/ Badarpur, Inspr. Ved Parkash. On the night intervening 18/19.3.08, ASI Mahinder alongwith staff started checking vehicles ferrying animals by installing barricades at Badarpur Border. At about 4 AM one Eicher-409 canter bearing registration No. HR-38-N-1408 was signaled to stop at the barricade for checking. The four occupants of the vehicle including the driver tried to run away from the spot leaving the vehicle but were overpowered by the staff. On checking the vehicle a large number of goats were found stuffed inside the vehicle. On the spot inquiry from the occupants of the vehicle revealed that the cattle were brought from Nuh area of Haryana and headed for selling at different locations in UP. The accused were identified as Akhat, Usman, Nasim and Babu. Action under section 11.1 of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. (PCA Act) and 99 D.P.Act was taken against the accused and they were arrested. As the offence was bailable, three accused were granted bail on producing their surety, while Babu the fourth accused, who was also driving the vehicle could not produce his surety. He was produced in the court and was sent to J/C. The vehicle ferrying the cattle was seized and the cattle seized have been sent to Sanjay Gandhi Veterinary Hospital, Rajouri Garden.

NORTH DISTRICT 20TH MARCH, 2008 TWO THIEVES INCLUDING WORKER ARRESTED FROM JAIPUR (RAJASTHAN) : RS. 11.18 LACS STOLEN CASH RECOVERED With the arrest of (1) Bajrang Lal Meena, aged 24 years s/o Rohtash r/o Village Madha, P.S. Paragpura, District Jaipur, (Raj) and (2) Kailash Yadav @ Kallu, aged 26 years s/o Nathu Ram r/o Village Madha, P.S. Paragpura, District Jaipur, (Raj), North District police has solved a case of shop theft and recovered the stolen cash Rs. 11.18 lacs.
On 16-03-2008, a well established dry fruit seller had reported that he runs a wholesale shop of dry fruits at 566, Ishwari Bhawan, Khari Baoli, Lahori Gate. On 15.03.08, he had kept 12.85 lacs cash at about 8 pm in the safe in his shop before closing the shop and kept the keys of the safe and the shop in his bag. On 17.03.08 at 11.30 am, when he reached his shop he found the keys of the shop missing from his bag. When he opened the shop with the duplicate keys and checked the safe, he found cash Rs 12.85 lacs missing. On this complaint, a case of theft was registered at P.S. Lahori Gate, Delhi and the investigation was launched.
A team consisting of Inspr. H.S.P. Singh, SHO/Lahori Gate, Inspr. Suraj Prasad, L & O/Lahori Gate, SI Ramesh Dixit, HC Deep Kumar, Ct Kailash, and Ct Samar Pal was constituted under the close supervision of Sh. Rajeev Sharma, ACP/Kotwali
During the investigation, it surfaced that the locks of the shutter of the shop and the safe were intact. Further several sources were deployed and the workers of the shop were also questioned. One of the workers namely Bajrang Lal mentioned above was found missing and it also surfaced that he was the one who had kept the bag of the complainant in his car on the night of 15.03.08. Raids were conducted at the native village of Bajrang Lal and he was apprehended and cash of Rs. 6.48 lacs was recovered from his possession. Further at his instance, his accomplice Kailash Yadav was also apprehended and cash Rs. 4.70 lacs was recovered from his possession.
During interrogation, it was revealed that Bajrang Lal, a labourer in the shop of the complainant used to keep the bag containing the keys of the shop and the safe, in the complainant’s vehicle after locking the shop. He was aware that the owner used to keep the daily cash collected in the safe of his shop before leaving at night. He alongwith one Kailash (also a labourer in another shop) planned to steal the cash. On the night of 15.03.08, as usual he took the bag of the complainant for keeping the same in his car and took out the keys of the shop and the safe before keeping the bag in the complainant’s car. Thereafter, in the night, both of them opened the locks of the shop and committed the theft and took out all the cash from the safe. Thereafter, they went to their native village, Paragpura, Distirct Jaipur, (Raj).
Further investigation / interrogation is in progress.

1. Bajrang Lal Meena s/o Rohtash r/o Village Madha, P.S. Paragpura, District Jaipur, (Raj) is 24 years old. He worked as a labourer in the shop of the complainant for about a year. Due to poverty, he alongwith Kailash planned to commit theft from the shop of his employer.
2. Kailash Yadav @ Kallu s/o Nathu Ram r/o Village Madha, P.S. Paragpura, District Jaipur, (Raj) is 26 years old. He worked as a labourer in Khari Baoli. Due to poverty, he alongwith Bajrang Lal planned to commit theft from the shop of Sh. Anil Wadhwa.

Press Bulletin Auto lifters arrested:- Shahdara Police have arrested two auto lifters namely Bharat Bhushan Sharma, aged 21 years, r/o East Gorakh Park and Naeem, aged 22 years r/o Kabir Nagar, Delhi. According to DC:P/North-East Office they were arrested on a tip off. With their arrest 8 cases of vehicles theft worked out. 2. A male, aged about 30 year, height 5’6”, fare complexion, long face, black hair, wearing white pant, white baniyan and black underwear, found on 16-3-2008.
Old Delhi Railway Police sought public help in identifying the3 body of a male, aged about 35 year, height 5’4”, round face, medium built, wheatish complexion, wearing light blue pant and shirt and red T-shirt with cream colour underwear, found on 3-3-2008.
New Delhi Railway Police sought public help in identifying the following bodies:-
1. A male, aged about 20/22year, height 5’2”, long face, shallow complexion, medium built, wearing red pajama yellow underwear & red banyan, found on 7-3- 2008.
2. A male, aged 50/55 year, height 5’6”, round face, wheatish complexion, strong built, wearing checkdar shirt, found on 9-3-2008.

In this case Sh. A. Mohandas (who was the Chairman of Trilokpuri Block Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee and Driver in the Embassy of Burkina Faso) s/o Shri Arjun r/o 170-C, Group-12, Pocket A-3, Mayur Vihar Phase-III, Delhi was stabbed to death on 24.02.2008 by the accused Moni @ Moni Idikkula.
As and when any information about the kidnapped/missing as well as accused person(s) involved in the said cases are received the same may be sent to Inspr./Computer Centre (Web Site), 10th Floor/PHQ through DCP/C&R as well as in C&T Branch, PHQ.
The Commissioner of Police, Delhi reserves the right to decide finally by whom the reward has been earned and in what proportion it will be distributed amongst various claimants, in case more than one claimant comes forward for the same.
20th March, 2008 BLIND ABDUCTION CUM RAPE CASE WORKED OUT
On 17.03.2008 at 03.45 AM an information regarding abduction of one girl aged 8 years from Anna Nagar, jhuggies was received at PS I.P. Estate. The local police immediately rushed to the spot where on the complaint of father the abducted child a case FIR No. 62/08 u/s 365 IPC was registered.
Large number of police teams were constituted under the supervision of ACP/Kamla Market Shri Ishwar Singh and SHO/I.P. Estate Shri Gajraj Singh to locate and trace the girl. During the search the girl was located near the jhuggies at around 07.00 AM in the morning.
The girl was sent for medical examination and in the medical examination rape of the girl was confirmed and Section 376 IPC was added in the case.
The police teams started investigation of the case on the basis of whatever clues were available. The girl had said in her statement that she was taken in a car by the accused to some unknown place where she was sexually assaulted and then she was abandoned by the accused near the sub-way at M.G. Road. On this basis it was surmised that some taxi driver may be the accused. Some of the taxi drivers who used to stay and visit this area were short-listed. All the taxi stands located in the Central, New Delhi and South Districts were scrutinized and all the taxi drivers on these stands were scanned. During this part of investigation it was found that one Bhagwan Das could be the culprit. Information was further developed and it was found that the probable accused used to run a taxi in the Kidwai Nagar area. When the police team reached Kidwai Nagar taxi stand they found that he had recently shifted to a taxi stand in Chankya Puri. Police team reached Chanakya Puri, laid a trap and nabbed the accused and seized the taxi used in the crime.
On interrogation the accused Bhagwan Das S/o Banarsi Das age 30 years revealed the entire story. He said that he used to run a taxi for a long time. He earlier used to stay in Kanchan Puri, Delhi jhuggies on Yamuna pushta. He also used to visit Anna Nagar jhuggies. In the night of the incident he dropped a passenger at DLF and purposely came to Anna Nagar jhuggies with the intention to commit this crime. He lifted the child from the jhuggi and took her to Gautam Nagar where he committed sexual assault on her. Later on he dropped the child near the sub-way on M.G. Road. Blood stained bedding from his residence at Gautam Nagar was seized. Further investigation is being carried out on merits. Police team, specially HC Sudesh Kumar, which worked out this blind abduction cum rape case is being suitably rewarded.

On 19/3/2008, Sh. Pankaj Dhingra, R/o 11089 Doriwalan came to his house at 03.15 PM. He found that the lock of out-side door is broken and when he tried to enter inside the house from side door, he saw two unknown youth inside his house. He caught hold of one while the other ran away towards side balcony on the back of the house and jumped from the 2nd floor resulting in injuries and at present he is admitted in RML Hospital. The burglar who was caught at the spot has been identified as Sandeep Kumar, S/o Ram Bharose Lal, R/o 335/2, Than Singh Nagar, Anand Parbat, Delhi (aged 22 years) whereas, the injured burglar is identified as Gopal S/o Gulab R/o 16/513 H-Block Bapa Nagar, Karol Bagh, Delhi (age 22 years). One gold “Mangal Sutra” and one Switch Watch were recovered from the burglars. A case FIR No.95 dated 19/3/08 u/s 454/380/411/34 IPC, PS DBG Road has been registered on the complaint of house owner Sh. Pankaj Dhingra
During further interrogation, Sandeep Kumar revealed that due to bad habits of visiting prostitutes and night club forced him to join crime world. He also revealed that he was earlier arrested in Police Station Ambedkar Nagar in a burglary case vide FIR No.850/07 in the month of November- 2007. He remained in Jail for one month and was released in the last week of December-2007. After being bailed out, he again came in contact with his old friend Gulab and started committing burglaries in the area of Rajender Nagar, Prasad Nagar and Karol Bagh.
Five cases of burglaries and theft were solved after the arrest of Sandeep Kumar. Investigation is in progress to find out his other associates and receiver of stolen property.
Profile: - Sandeep Kumar is a school droop out and belongs to lower middle class family. His father is a tailor in an export factory. He left school after 11th class.
Modus operandi: - Most of the time, he chooses afternoon to burgle the house especially on upper floors so that no passer by can see. He used to press bell of the house, if there comes no answer, than he barges into the house. He picks jwellery and cash only.
