About Kutch

Kutch is from a Sanskrit Language which means in Gujarati KACHBO a Tortoise

SAMUDRA MANTHAN - Churning of sea on back of TORTOISE – means Kutch under sea and with a Mt. MERU. 15000 feet + collapsed height 6000 feet, we know the story of the MUNI Agatshya and Mt. Meru, Kilimanjaro is19000 feet. Present Everest is 29029 feet
Where is Mt. Meru? Mt. Meru and ARUSA air Port in Tanzania, SOUTH of an EQUATOR. 14″S 36.75°E / -3.233333; 36.75

UTTARE Meru means In NORTH:- Kutch and India was joined to MADAGASKAR, AUSTRALLIA, AFTRICA in GONDWANALANDJAMBUDWIP south of equator. So Fossils of these area are similar. (Stages, 65mn years, 130, 195 onwards up to 450mn (7times 65mn under water65mn=1KT=15Maha Yugas!

Australian fossils of Stromatolites also seen live in Bay of Kutch and fossils in KUTCH hills of KHTROD.

African fossils and KUTCH fossils are similar like Crocodilians, HOMINIDS, fossil foot prints etc. 2001 earthquake revealed all secrets of Kutch.

(I) First row:- Northern line or Rann Ranges consisting of.Raghemalro, Khadinvalo or Khadio, Bhanjdo (situated on a Bet), Pachchmai, Pranthalwalo(Dholo): Moghanio, and Karo Dungar.
(II) Second row:- Middle line Jogika Bhit. Jharo, Piro, Karakas or Kanero, Dinodhar (1190 ft) Varar(1125 Ft),Vichhio, Jhuro, (923 Ft), Gandhri (934 Ft), Habai(1126 Ft) Gholari(974 Ft) & kasva(Kans)

Nanama Hills (1400 Ft) Near village Mangwana (Nakhatrana) Bhurad river start from here. Kharod a south flowing river from here.

Mata-nu-math (Lakhpat taluka) River Nara and Kali flows from these hills.Khari river also flows from here.

Barandha Hills- In Lakhpat taluka- Godhatad river flows from here.

Badargarh Hills- (Rapar taluka) River Suvi emnates from here.
Manki Hills - Near Jadodar village (Nakhatrana). Dhudhus river rises from here. Naiero river also emanate from this hill.

Sarsala Hills-Bhachhau taluka, Chang river flows from this hill.

Chadwa Hills-Bhuj taluka, Khari river and Rukmavati river starts from this Hill

Vithroi Hills-Rapar (near Badargarh village) Rav river rises from here

Jhura Hills-Bhuj taluka- Kaila river emnates from here.

Roha Hills -Nakhatrana taluka - source of Kankavati river.

Habo Hills - Bhuj taluka-Kaswati river emnates from Kans hill here.

Vamoti Hills - Mithi river rises from here( In Abdassa).

Lanki Hills- source of Nagmati river Khatrod Hills -Bhuki river starts from this hill in Bhuj, The another Bhuki river in Anjar

Vithroi Hills-Rapar- Lakadiawali river stirrts from this hill.

THE BLACK HILL-The Kala Dungar (Black Hill) the highest hill in Kutch (458 Mtrs 1450feet)

Jungles RAKHALS and centuries of Kutch:- Little Rann of Kutch wildlife Sanctuary(Ktuch desert wildlife sanctuary) Wild Ass Sanctuary.
